Job Summary:
We are looking for an IT Help Desk Technician to assist our Network Administrator in responding to Help Desk tickets, emails, requests for technical support, and provide project tracking.
Required Education:
Associate’s degree or coursework completed in Computer Science; or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide user support for PC Hardware and Software, responding with appropriate urgency to user inquiries.
- Assist in tracking Help Desk tickets, resolving networking and system issues.
- Install and maintain network and workstation software and hardware
- Provide local phone system (Switchvox) administration
- Coordinate IT user support function (Help Desk – ManageEngine)
- IT Asset management
- Document, track, and monitor projects to ensure timely resolution
- Identify, research, and resolve technical issues.
- Basic project management
- Preparing system documentation and reports
- Analyze and resolve information/business system related problems
- Develop and Document Business Requirements to select Software Applications.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Working knowledge of PC hardware maintenance
- Working knowledge of Network Administration, Monitoring and Troubleshooting
- The ability to analyze and resolve PC hardware and software problems
- The aptitude/ability and willingness to learn new technology
- The ability to adjust to constantly changing priorities
- The ability to communicate with a diverse group of associates

Various other PC based software

Work Environment:
- The performance of this position requires exposure to the warehouse.
- The individual is exposed to a typical office environment with ambient room temperature, lighting, and traditional office equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk a minimum of 8 hours per day.
- Individuals may be required to reach above shoulder height, below waist or lift as required to file documents or to reach for product throughout the workday; lifting will include up to 25 pounds. Proper lifting techniques are required.
Other Requirements:
Hours of Work:Monday-Friday (8am-5pm), overtime as needed.
Stress Factors:Constantly changing priorities, high user expectations, complexity of the related technology, and complexity of the application software.
