Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota is seeking to hire a Help Desk Technician on the Winona Campus. This position is responsible for providing computer and Help Desk support to faculty, staff, and students by telephone, email, and in person. In addition, this position will assist with the daily activities of the Winona Campus copy center. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment and be self-motivated with strong customer service skills. This position will work Monday through Friday during the day with occasional weekend and evening support.
- Manage daily operations of the copy center including making copies and booklets, and laminating documents.
- Provide in-person, email, phone and hands-on support to end users.
- Provide level 1 and 2 issue resolution for hardware and software.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date asset tracking.
- Create and update how to documentation for end users.
- Assist with audio/visual support requests.
- Provide basic printer support and maintenance.
- Upgrade software as appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to two years of technical experience supporting Desktop, WAN, and LAN equipment.
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Preference for Bachelor's Degree in IT related field.
- May consider other relevant combinations of training and experience.
