Job Overview:
West Central Technology looks to employ Service Desk 1 technicians who have a passion for process and order, are precise in their work, and are continually looking for ways to improve upon existing infrastructure. Our Service Desk 1 technician should also possess a strong ability to communicate with both customers and coworkers. We are a dynamic company with the need for dynamic individuals to help manage and grow the company.
Responsibilities:
- Follow direction of Engineer and Specialist personnel
- Work with customers to resolve issues
- Maintain Customer documentation
- Maintaining a healthy and motivated office culture
- Maintaining internal systems to ensure updated and accurate information
- Managing outgoing communications to customers, as needed
- Maintain certifications and acquire new certifications to maintain or build on company’s partnerships.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area
- Other duties as required
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
- Needs to have experience with computer systems, servers, and other hardware as necessary
- Able to communicate effectively regarding computer issues
- Maintain certifications as necessary
- Well organized
- Proficient in basic office equipment (printer/scanner/copy machine, computer, label maker, ect)
- Able to travel, as needed
- Able to work as scheduled
- Able to work nights and weekends, when needed

This is a full-time, salaried position. Salary will depend on experience and applicable certification.
