Service Desk 1 Technician

Job Overview:

West Central Technology looks to employ Service Desk 1 technicians who have a passion for process and order, are precise in their work, and are continually looking for ways to improve upon existing infrastructure. Our Service Desk 1 technician should also possess a strong ability to communicate with both customers and coworkers. We are a dynamic company with the need for dynamic individuals to help manage and grow the company.

Responsibilities:

• Follow direction of Engineer and Specialist personnel
• Work with customers to resolve issues
• Maintain Customer documentation
• Maintaining a healthy and motivated office culture
• Maintaining internal systems to ensure updated and accurate information
• Managing outgoing communications to customers, as needed
• Maintain certifications and acquire new certifications to maintain or build on company’s partnerships.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area
• Other duties as required

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

• Needs to have experience with computer systems, servers, and other hardware as necessary
• Able to communicate effectively regarding computer issues
• Maintain certifications as necessary
• Well organized
• Proficient in basic office equipment (printer/scanner/copy machine, computer, label maker, ect)
• Able to travel, as needed
• Able to work as scheduled
• Able to work nights and weekends, when needed

This is a full-time, salaried position. Salary will depend on experience and applicable certification.
