Job Description:

Help Desk Technician for FDA Electronic Submission Gateway

• Answer tickets from the customer, related to Help Desk issues
• Ensure proper ticket management and resolution, using accepted standards and procedures
• Provide all customer interaction for client support
• Basic analysis skills and troubleshooting issues related to browser/JRE/Plug-ins
• Setup user accounts in Active Directory
• Troubleshoot application related issues

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of related technical or Help Desk experience
• Good overall technical knowledge in MS Windows, web browsers, and plug-ins
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills - both written and oral
• Ability to understand technical/complicated items and explain them to others with less technical knowledge
• Ability to learn new systems and procedures
• Self-motivated and ability to work with little supervision

Education/Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust level clearance
