Overview
Sage Dental Management is looking for a Help Desk Support Technician to join our growing team in Boca Raton, FL! This position will provide technical assistance to computer system users and will answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, via telephone or from a remote location. This position may also provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems. Some nights, weekend, and on call duties are required. Travel to set up new locations is also required.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
- Must be able to be onsite, M-F, in our Boca Raton office. This is not a remote role.
- Apply computer networking technology
- Assist co-workers with software problems
- Install hardware, software, or peripheral equipment
- Apply interpersonal communication techniques
- Communicate technical information
- Conduct computer diagnostics to determine nature of problems
- Maintain or repair computers or related equipment
- Use computer to enter, access or retrieve data
- Identify appropriate software for project
- Use word processing or desktop publishing software
- Install computer programs
- Perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment
- Provide technical support to computer users
- Use spreadsheet software
- Test computer programs or systems
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a Help Desk role.
- Experience managing Windows machines and Citrix, preferred.
- Ability to work during nights, weekends, and on call as required.
- Ability to travel to set up new locations, required.
