Help Desk / Onsite Support Traveling Technician

About the Job

We are seeking a self-driven, highly motivated individual to complement our growing IT team. The Help Desk Support Technician will provide 1st/2nd level technical support and assistance for our client base creating a valuable relationship by listening well to customers and championing client’s needs. Working to resolve technical issues and perform necessary programming, helping to ensure that every customer gets top priority status resolution to their IT issues. Must be a self-starter committed to learning quickly, participate in problem-solving and work well in a team environment. Your role will require driving to various local customer locations for onsite work. Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle. Preferred Bilingual speaker (Spanish).
Job Responsibilities/include but not limited to:

•Provide Level I and Level II troubleshooting support assistance for stand-alone workstations, including hardware refresh, security application patching, and virus protection for our customer desk-top support.
•Track and document trouble tickets
•Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical problems either remotely, or at the customer's location with full focus on customer service.
•Take action for any technical faults or issues; maintain cleanliness, organization/documentation.
•Ensure that all Help Desk calls are treated with the utmost courtesy, and they are quickly and effectively resolved.
•Assist with the training and orientation of customers’ new user staff.
•Work with other members of the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve user issues as they arise.
•Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems- Desktop Support;
•General desktop and printer support including installation of drivers as needed.
•Troubleshooting email issues and general workstation issues.
•User training on windows and desktop applications as needed.

- Network Support;
•Setup of new users in Active Directory including assignment of Rights.
•Coordinate creation and removal of all hosted email accounts.
•Adding new computers to either Active Directory or Azure Active Directory.
•Maintain accounts, train users on remote access and usage.
•Resetting of System Printer queues as required.
•Maintain Antivirus Backup Applications.

Qualifications
•Extensive knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems.
•Windows 7, 8, and 10
•Virus, spyware, malware prevention, and removal.
•Standalone and shared printer installation and removal.
•Installation and general support of the miscellaneous desktop applications.
•Ability to act quickly on resolving problems.
•A service-oriented attitude- patience and resolve to do what it takes to get the job done correctly and satisfy the customer.
•The ability to pick up new technologies easily and to become proficient quickly.
•The ability to manage technical requests with minimum oversight.
•Experience working within a fast-paced environment and all levels of management.
•Preferred Experience with VOIP phone systems configuration and support.
