• Reliable, responsible and able to work effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
• Effective written and oral communications skills.
Help Desk assistants should be able to explain him or herself clearly
• Familiarity with NCC Acceptable Use of Information Technologies and other relevant College policies and procedures. DESIRABLE:
• Familiarity with NCC computer labs and residential networking services.
• General knowledge of Windows 10, Mac OS X, Microsoft Office 365, Mozilla Firefox, Chrome, IOS, Android and wireless connectivity
• Computer Science coursework at NCC or other institution.
• Experience in a customer service-related position.

Job Qualifications
Required:

• Currently enrolled as a student at North Central College.
• Reliable, responsible and able to work effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
• Effective written and oral communications skills; Help Desk assistants should be able to explain him or herself clearly.
• Familiarity with NCC Acceptable Use of Information Technologies and other relevant College policies and procedures.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with NCC computer labs and residential networking services.
• General knowledge of Windows 10, Mac OS, IOS, Android, Microsoft Office 365, Mozilla Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Outlook, wireless connectivity.
• Computer Science coursework at NCC or other institution.
• Experience in a customer service-related position.
