Job Description
Health & Safety Engineer:
This role will support the Image Guided Therapy Devices Business and sites located in California. This position will work directly with the Operations Management Teams while working with the Philips North America Health & Safety to develop a robust Health & Safety program that focuses on risk management, regulatory and corporate compliance, continual improvement and builds an environment that facilitates a strong worker participation program.
Your role(On-site role):

• Overall responsibility to develop and improve occupational, Health & Safety programs and environmental sustainability for three California locations, comprising of an Office/ R&D in San Diego, a warehousing distribution center in Rancho Cordova, and manufacturing facility located in Freemont South.
• Work directly with site Management Teams to enhance Health & Safety performance, provide technical guidance on H&S requirements and program initiatives and prepare conduct Mgmt. reviews.
• Develops, implements, and maintains Employee Health Safety policies ensuring internal/external compliance and relevant OHS training is deployed to ensure employee awareness and compliance.
• Adopt and support a proactive risk management/reduction approach through completion of risk assessments and implementation of risk analysis and reduction programs to manage and reduce risk to an acceptable level, ensuring significant risks are escalated to leadership.
• Measures performance & program effectiveness through goals, objectives, KPIs, trend analysis, site inspections and monthly incident reporting and deliver progress reports to Leadership.

You're the right fit if:

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Safety related subject, with 5+ years experience in Environmental, Health & Safety; or a Master's Degree with 3+ years related Experience in Environmental, Health & Safety.
• Experience managing Employee Health Safety at Leadership level reporting to Plant Manager level equivalent.
• You have a strong regulatory knowledge of California specific EH&S requirements.
• You are able to travel between California sites, as needed.
• You have experience with ISO 14001 and/or 45001 (Lead Auditor desirable)
• Your skills include Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, 6Ss and Problem Solving.
• You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office/Remote position.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position is $98,000 to $140,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
