Camp Alonim is a co-ed overnight camp that provides a tremendous opportunity for campers to enter a world that is truly their own: fun, friends, and a chance to be themselves.
We're looking for motivated individuals who help maintain a clean environment optimal for healthy, safe medical care. Eterns will be a involved with the interdisciplinary team including but not limited to campers, counselors, on-site staff, parents and camp leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Work with campers, counselors, and the medical team to assess, plan, and coordinate care.
- Provide wound care as needed.
- Knowledgeable about maintaining a safe, clean, organized environment in the Health Center.
- Demonstrate safe handling of equipment used in the Health Center.
- Provide emotional support to Campers, Counselors, and Staff.
- Prepare the Health Center for daily operations.
- Build rapport with patients of both pediatric and adult populations.
- Collaboration with other members of the interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
- Interest in medicine in community and pediatric settings
- BLS Certification preferred
