Our client is looking for an ambitious, energetic Head of Sales to join their team in Hollywood, CA. They’ve been in business for 50 years and a new owner took over four years ago. Since then, they’ve tripled in revenue with no signs of slowing down. Because their clients are the most resilient businesses in the world (industrial gas companies), you’ll benefit from an extremely stable book of business from their current Sales Leader who is retiring. Although you’ll be overseeing one team member, 95% of your time will be spent as an individual contributor bidding on upcoming projects as their clients are building new facilities that require the mechanical rotating equipment our client manufactures. Given the scope of work, detailed technical documentation to review, and the blue-chip clients you’ll be working with, most projects range from six months to a year. This would be perfect for someone who wants a leadership role and the opportunity to influence sales strategies and processes without giving up their part in closing the deal. • Manage one account manager
• Enhance sales processes and strategy
• Create and build relationships with key accounts
• Identify new contacts and upcoming projects
• Review technical documentation
• Complete technical RFQs
• Provide technical support
• Travel to meet with customers
• Meet or exceed sales targets and profit

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required
• 5+ years of manufacturing sales experience required
• Strong mechanical aptitude required
• Proven track record of creating new sales strategies and processes required
• Quarterly domestic travel required (typically a few days overnight)
