WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As the Head of Sales at Krannich Solar West in Oceanside, your role entails the oversight of Sales operations within our Californian office. Your primary responsibility involves directing and closely monitoring the organization’s sales objectives, policies, and projects.
As the Head of Sales, you will leverage your extensive expertise to develop both short- and long-term business strategies. With your professional background, you will strategically plan and execute initiatives to attain the company's objectives, therby driving Krannich Solar toward global success.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Team Management
- Lead and mentor a dynamic sales team, offering guidance and support through your strong experience and leadership.
- Establish seamless communication and collaboration between the sales department and the CEO.
- Guarantee the fulfilment of daily sales targets and customer needs with efficiency and in a timely manner.
- Establish and articulate monthly/quarterly/annual sales objectives for team members, providing constructive feedback to executives for review and evaluation.
- Cultivate a culture of high-performance, fostering an environment where each team member is empowered to achieve their full potential.
- Monitor sales performance, conduct trend analyses, and deliver precise sales forecasts consistently.
- Drive ongoing enhancement of internal processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
Sales & Marketing
- Developing a keen awareness and comprehensive understanding of market potentials within the solar segment.
- Implementing marketing strategies based on market and competition analyses.
- Establish sales strategies to expand the customer base and sustaining industry leadership.
- Proactively acquire new customers while retaining existing ones.
- Stay up to date with the newest developments, trends and regulatory changes in the solar field.
- Providing technical expertise to your team.
- Facilitate exchange and collaboration with other departments at Krannich Solar.
- Engage in tradeshows and nurture strategic relationships with customers and industry contacts.
MUST HAVE
- Proven sales executive experience with the focus on solar (5+ years)
- Strong understanding of leadership, mentoring and excellent team management expertise
- Proven track record of consistently surpassing sales targets
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent time management, ability to meet deadlines and setting priorities
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
