Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth in the solar energy market. As Head of Sales, you will be responsible for leading and managing our sales team, driving business development, and achieving sales targets. This is a key leadership role within our organization, and we are looking for someone who can bring a strategic mindset and strong sales expertise to help us grow the business.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet company objectives
- Lead and manage a team of Sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support
- Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify areas for growth and improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment of Sales goals
- Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports
- Conduct regular sales meetings to review progress, provide feedback, drive accountability, and address any challenges or issues
- Achieve and exceed agreed upon quotas and KPI targets monthly, quarterly, and annually
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients to maximize profitability
- Stay current on industry developments, regulations, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategies and decision-making
Experience/Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably as a Head of Sales or similar position
- Strong business development skills with the ability to identify new opportunities and close deals
- Excellent analytical skills to analyze market trends, customer data, and sales performance metrics
- Experience in generating significant personal revenue, as well as managing high close-ratio solar sales teams
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team. Transformative approach to leadership that empowers others
- Knowledge of HubSpot or similar CRM software to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions; Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Google Workplace
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, negotiate contracts, and deliver exceptional customer service
- Solid experience in establishing and managing data-driven, accountable sales processes
- Technical sales experience is a plus

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
