We are seeking an Executive/Head Chef to join our team!
45 hours is average per week work schedule. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and dedicate time to expanding our clientele base to establish the restaurant's brand and reputation. Ideally, this candidate will oversee and physically perform during peak meal periods, effectively leading their crew(s).
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day culinary operations
- Coordinate food and kitchenware orders
- Check freshness and quality of ingredients
- Assist in the development of future menu items through consistent daily/weekly features
- Standardize recipes and plate presentations
- Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests
- Identify leaders/potential leaders within the company and place team in effective positions
- Be responsible for food cost goals through reliable ordering and handling of product
- Be responsible for labor cost goals through proper reaction to business levels.
- Mentoring your team
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in culinary arts and F&B profitability preferred
- Knowledge and industry standard of effective cost and labor systems
- Passion for food and international cooking techniques
- Strong and effective leadership qualities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of vegan and vegetarian cuisines a plus
