About the role

The mission of this role is to create and manage a frictionless employee experience - allowing Rokt to unleash the potential of every Rokt'star. In this role, you will own all analytics, systems, and policies, related to the employee lifecycle (from hire to retire). Areas of responsibilities include compensation, benefits, payroll, operations, compliance, and people analytics.

Responsibilities
  • Build out analytics capability to ensure key stakeholders have the right insight to inform decision making; solve complex problems across the organization by understanding key metrics, managing 
  • Create and/or execute the people analytics vision and strategy, enabling solutions that cut across the entire employee lifecycle, in alignment with People and business leadership priorities, stakeholder requirements, and business unit requirements.  
  • Partner with business leaders and People functional groups to develop a standard set of People and talent key performance indicators. 

  • Ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes; be aware of changing requirements and practices for maintaining ethical workforce data handling.
  • Manage people analytics governance, ensuring all projects are prioritized by business value and aligned with other analytics projects in the organization.
  • Authoritatively explain data findings to executives and translate insights and recommendations into the language of the business; regularly counsel and coach a team of leaders on how to create actionable insights that link talent and business outcomes.
  • Design and implement key People Operations (HR and Talent Acquisition) infrastructure that will enable Rokt to scale smoothly through the IPO and beyond
  • Oversee the roadmap and administration of People-related programs and policies including, but not limited to, all stages of the employee journey, benefits, leaves of absence, HR & recruiting tech stack, global mobility, labor compliance, etc.
  • Serve as an internal consultant to the HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and stakeholders across the organization on a variety of topics 
  • Propose and implement new or improved processes, guidelines, tools and systems to support the organization's needs, improve the employee experience and provide better decision support for People Managers
  • Accountable for global HR system data integrity, reporting and analytics
  • Collaborate across the People Team to create and continuously fine-tune programs through feedback loops, metrics, trends, key insights and detailed analyses
  • Improve the overall manager and employee experience when interacting with our core HR systems - in particular with Workday as our HRIS
  • Review and adapt the People Team's service delivery structure to meet changing business needs (ie some programs delivered centrally through the People Operations team and some through HR business partners or talent acquisition teams)
  • Oversee the administration, communication, and timeline of all employee benefit programs including in the US, including the annual open enrollment elections process and changes to enrollment throughout the year
  • Implement global payroll system with one provider to standardize data, streamline processes and ensure global compliance
  • Ensure accurate payroll through regular frequent payroll audits and the management of payroll discrepancies

Requirements
  • Minimum 10+ years of progression experience in HR operations
  • Strong operational background with experience working in hyper-growth technology companies with teams in multiple states and international locations
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritize and drive to success multiple projects simultaneously with demonstrated subject matter expertise in HR and talent acquisition tech stacks, compensation and benefits, people analytics, immigration and employment law and people policies and processes
  • Solid experience working with data and analytics and managing workforce plans
  • Technology implementation and change management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to align technology to improve business performance
  • Experience with cloud-based people analytics software is an asset
  • Excellent organization and interpersonal communication skills, tact and discretion in handling information, attention to detail, and strong work ethic. Ability to effectively collaborate and work with all levels
  • Expertise in Workday with prior experience in leading through successful multi-phased Workday implementations
  • Strong quantitative skills is a must (advanced formulas, business insights tools)
  • Superior organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Experience working with large database sets and multiple HR-related tools, including HRIS, performance management, compensation planning and benefit portals 
  • Passion: Succeed by approaching challenges with excitement, enthusiasm and self assurance
  • Able to build rapport quickly and establish and maintain productive, trust-based relationships with a wide variety of individuals across lines of difference
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to organize and prioritize while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality under deadline pressure and with a high level of professionalism

Salary Range: $185,000- $210,000/ year + equity + (great) benefits!
