Job Summary
As the Manager of Retail Operations and Development Analytics, you will lead internal analytics for Optimum Retail. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing store performance and providing actionable insights to ensure Retail Operations compliance.
You bring exceptional analytics and problem-solving skills, with a foundational understanding of sales. You have experience in managing complex KPIs that support a retail eco-system. Your ability to pull insights from large data sets and layer in industry understanding will be critical as you develop recommendations to senior stakeholders. You are a proactive strategic thinker and can work independently and collaboratively across the organization. This role reports to the Director of Retail Operations and Tools.
Responsibilities
  • Lead retail sales and operations analytics to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to unlock incremental revenue opportunities / efficiencies
  • Develop and maintain regular and ad-hoc retail scorecards and reporting for retail sales leadership
  • Be a story-teller - create data-driven and compelling presentations for retail sales channel business reviews
  • Lead initiatives to improve retail analytics capabilities - including development of new dashboards, and onboarding of new programs/tools to improve access to consistent business insights
  • Influence external and internal cross-functional partners
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, business, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5-7 years of working experience in quantitative analytics, reporting, data analysis, and data visualization
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products, e.g., Excel and/or other analytics tools, Lists, SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc
  • Experience in data languages (Python, SQL, R, etc), with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc), and data warehouses (GCP, etc)
  • Proactive, self-motivated, self-sufficient with strong collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Strong project/program management skills and ability to pair strategic thinking with execution excellence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data-points into easily consumable insights
  • Curious and detail oriented - leave no stone unturned, but has the business acumen to prioritize actions
  • Desire to grow and learn!
  • Willing to travel up to 25% to be regularly present in the Optimum field across the footprint

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $102,816.00 - $168,912.00 / year. The rate/Range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
