JOB TITLE – Shipping Clerk

Hours: Mon-Fri; 40 hours per week

JOB DETAILS

A position at IGI begins with hands-on, individualized training to learn our policies and procedures to enable you to do the following:

• Receive packages/mail, including packages containing diamonds and jewelry,
• Contact the client in case there is a discrepancy in quantity
• Prepare packages: assign correct insurance amount, pack the jewelry in a secure way, contact the client for shipping label or instructions for shipping.
• Be in constant contact with clients and account managers regarding the packages
• Always keep track of clients’ information: address, email and phone number
• Receive and properly store inventory orders
• Coordinate and communicate the usage and count of inventory with operation personnel
• Occasionally hand deliver small packages during office hours
• Other duties as assigned by administration/managers

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

· High School Diploma Required

Required

· Eligible to work in the U.S. and located in the NY tri-state area only

Technical Skills/Abilities

· Attention to detail

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

· Shipping experience preferred

Personal Skills

· Professionalism

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Work well with others team members
• Work in a fast pace environment

COMPENSATION

$37.5K-52K a year based on experience- This is a full-time hourly position.
