ROLE SUMMARY:
Anheuser-Busch, LLC seeks a full-time Head of Brand based in New York, NY. As a member of the Anheuser-Busch Marketing Team working out of the North America Commercial Strategy Office, this position is responsible for overseeing an Anheuser-Busch brand; leading and developing a brand team of two to five professionals; overseeing brand strategic projects spanning different areas, such as short- and long-term brand strategy, communication, innovation, and other areas; and partnering with key commercial stakeholders across the organization to drive the brand agenda and results.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary responsibilities and duties include the following:
  • Defining short- and long-term brand strategy with clear growth ambitions and key performance indicators (KPIs), supported by well-defined consumer target(s), occasion(s) focus, communication, trade, and innovation plans;
  • Leading a brand team of two to five professionals, including driving engagement and supporting career development through clear development plans;
  • Directing brand team and cross-functional partners in the development and execution of the brand strategy;
  • Managing the relationship with senior commercial stakeholders to influence and drive brand agenda;
  • Engaging with key external stakeholders, such as agency and other partners, to source thought-leadership;
  • Leading team members, internal cross-functional peers, and external consultants and creative agencies in strategic brand projects;
  • Leading different marketing pillars, insights, communications, innovation pipeline and portfolio;
  • Leading complex brand projects with different senior stakeholders, balancing high-priority urgent requests with long-term goals;
  • Working with multiple consumer data, advanced analytic methods and research techniques, and intelligence and visualization tools. Position requires domestic and international travel up to 25% of the time.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • This position requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field and eight (8) years of experience working with brands in a consumer-packaged goods (CPG) company.
  • Must also have 24 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: 1) Leading team members, internal cross-functional peers, and external consultants and creative agencies in strategic brand projects. 2) Building partnerships and influencing stakeholders and decision-making at all levels of an organization to move from analytics to insights to action. 3) Leading different marketing pillars, including short- and long-term brand strategy, insights, communications, innovation pipeline and portfolio. 4) Working with multiple consumer data, advanced analytic methods and research techniques, and intelligence and visualization tools.
  • Will accept experience gained before, during or after Master’s program. All experience may have been gained concurrently. Position requires domestic and international travel up to 25% of the time. Please apply online at
