Position Overview:
The Head of Brand Marketing & Communications, NCSA is a critical leadership role that reports directly to the Managing Director of the North Central and South America (NCSA) region. The ideal candidate is a strategic and creative leader with a proven track record in the luxury and consumer retail landscape.
The candidate will play a pivotal role leading the full marketing function and should possess a thorough understanding of Brand image building, digital marketing, PR and communications, CRM, retail, and wholesale marketing.
A successful candidate will understand how to create and champion an effective marketing strategy, while juggling regional and global changes, and can provide measurable and actionable results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Serve as the functional marketing leader, providing necessary support as needed to our executive team; strategizing, proof reading, project ownership, etc.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with HQ and regional business goals, providing clear and effective communication and collaboration to achieve measurable results.
- Brand Management: Lead efforts to enhance and maintain the company's brand image; create and action an effective communication strategy that raises the brand's profile through unique and disruptive opportunities, executive speaking engagements and more; manage and oversee PR, VIP and Influencer relationships and oversee respective agency partners.
- Digital Marketing: Partner closely with the Head of e-commerce to align on business needs/goals, understand how to effectively use paid media (paid search and social) + affiliate marketing to achieve measurable results; oversee the digital marketing agency.
- Customer Engagement: Enhance customer engagement through loyalty programs, CRM initiatives, and customer feedback analysis, partnering closely with internal regional and HQ teams to steer success.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes to inform marketing strategies.
- Product Launches: Plan and execute product launches, working closely with merchandising and sales teams to maximize success.
- Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve ROI, partner closely with finance, managing director and HQ.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, operations, and IT, to ensure a cohesive and unified approach to business growth.
Requirements
Experience & Key Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 15 years of senior-level marketing experience, preferably in the retail industry.
- Proven success in developing and implementing marketing strategies that have driven growth and revenue.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Creative and strategic thinking with a passion for staying up to date with industry trends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Salary range reflects the good-faith hiring base salary range for this position. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as relevant skills, experience, and education/training.
Salary Description
Range: $190,000 to $250,000
