About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (Saturday rotations)
- Hours: 8:30am to 5pm
- Setting: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) / Community Health
- Patient Volume: 12 to 18 per day
Responsibilities:
The Women's Health Physician (GYN) will be responsible for:
- Conducting regular gynecological examinations to screen for and prevent diseases
- Providing prenatal care to pregnant women, monitoring the health of both the mother and the developing fetus, and assisting with the delivery of babies
- Offering contraceptive counseling and providing various birth control options to women based on their preferences and health considerations
- Diagnosing and treating conditions related to the menstrual cycle, hormonal imbalances, and other reproductive system disorders
- Managing and treating disorders of the reproductive system
- Addressing issues related to sexual health
- Performing gynecological surgeries when necessary
- Helping women manage the physical and hormonal changes associated with menopause
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York
- Board Eligible / Certified
