We are a well established, highly regarded pet resort offering boarding, daycare and grooming. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Guest Care Supervisor to join our team. As a Guest Care Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the well-being of the guests in our care. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
As the Guest Care Supervisor at our boarding facility, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facility's back-end operations (cleaning, care, activities, bathing, etc). Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing staff, managing inventory, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards, and optimizing processes to enhance the overall experience for our guests and staff. Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise back-end staff.
- Provide ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and disciplinary action when necessary to maintain high standards of professionalism and efficiency.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels for cleaning supplies, food items, bedding, and other necessary materials.
Facility Maintenance
- Oversee maintenance activities to ensure that all areas of the facility are clean, well-maintained, and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Schedule and coordinate repairs, renovations, and routine maintenance tasks to minimize disruptions to operations.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any areas requiring attention and address issues promptly.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall guest experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to implement changes and initiatives aimed at achieving operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a boarding facility or similar environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
