Group Product Manager – Performance Marketing (StubHub, Inc., New York, NY)
Scope out options for Performance Marketing, valuing objectives and constantly assessing their relative priority orders. Lead project planning meetings, product grooming meetings, retrospective meetings, individual catch ups, software design meetings, performance meetings and strategic meetings, check ins with progress, leading and organizing the team in response to emergencies/breakages. Break down discrete strategic objectives into digestible work items for developers, analysts and operational specialists, ensuring detailed and agreed scope, accurate effort estimates, dependencies and orderings. Oversee and manage correspondence and meetings with external third parties (such as Google reps, Facebook, agencies). Oversee and manage team recruitment. Lead the review, analyzation, and reaction to Key Performance Indicators (“KPI’s”). Research, evaluate, recommend, and implement Performance Marketing tools and technologies that align with business goals. Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in Performance Marketing platforms, automation tools, data analytics, and other relevant technologies. Use data analysis tools like Snowflake and MySQL to extract insights and make data-driven decisions. Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to drive marketing strategies. Collaborate with data analysts and marketing teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop strategies to optimize campaign performance and ROI using various Performance Marketing channels. Apply expertise in experimentation and causal inference methodologies to inform marketing strategy decisions. Telecommuting may be permitted up to 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to StubHub, Inc. at 3 World Trade Center - 175 Greenwich St, New York, NY 10007; Salary: $240,000 - $300,000 per year.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Marketing, Market Research, or related field plus 5 years of professional experience as a Marketing Manager, Marketing Head, Marketing Associate, or any occupation/position/job title involving Performance Marketing.
In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of professional experience, the employer will accept 7 years of professional experience as a Marketing Manager, Marketing Head, Marketing Associate, or any occupation/position/job title involving Performance Marketing.
Must also have experience with the following special skills: 5 years of professional experience devising, implementing, and executing Performance Marketing strategies to maximize revenue through paid marketing channels and minimize costs; 5 years of professional experience strategizing, developing and managing a team of product analysts, Product Managers, and operations managers; 5 years of professional experience designing, implementing, and executing software solutions using MySQL and Excel VBA; 5 years of professional experience designing, maintaining, automating, and publishing dashboards for key performance indicators for consumption by management using Power BI; 5 years of professional experience with Special Marketing Campaigns using Social Ads optimization and Google or Bing SEM optimization; 5 years of professional experience devising, implementing, and executing Performance Marketing strategies across a global footprint, to maximize revenue through paid marketing channels and minimize costs; and 5 years of experience testing various marketing channels to gain market insight, using statistical analysis, experiment analysis and predictive analytics; 5 years of professional experience developing and executing product roadmaps to execute paid search operations with software at scale; and 2 years of professional experience using analytic driven software to help store, discover patterns, and outliers in data including Visual Studio.
