Job Description
- Delivers the highest quality product within sample and production deadlines by proactively planning, coordinating, and managing all sources while identifying/addressing issues that may impact timelines or cost.
- Embodies the high standards of the Production department and actively represents the department in all calendar checkpoints and major milestone meetings.
- Daily communications direct with factories and ensure all product is proceeding in our required timeline.
- Managing the entire flow of production throughout final shipping and have prompt resolution of all production related issues.
- Ensures all Purchase Orders and Send Outs are delivered to and from the vendor on the date agreed and given.
- Review PP/TOP samples with design and ensures all quality expectations are met.
- Ensure factories are updated on all comments made on PP/TOP samples.
- Be able to work with cross-functional departments regarding any production issues and/or opportunities.
- Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production and assists with various projects.
- Work with factories to manage all audits are up to date and maintain company’s factory matrix.
- Work with factories to manage any necessary Material/Product Testing are done and passed in timely manner.
- Work with 3rd Party QA team to ensure that any related QC issues are addressed and resolved promptly.
- Product cost and delivery negotiations. Create cost sheets and ensure all products achieve company margin goals.
- Assist upper management building the sourcing strategy in collaboration with merchants, inventory management, and design.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Production/Sourcing and/or Supply Chain roles of increasing scope, complexity, and leadership responsibility.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in production working with accessories, specifically sports bags.
- Walmart Private Brand / National Brand experience is preferred but not required.
- Extreme attention to detail. Must be sharp, deadline focused and motivated.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be proficient in MS Office.
Salary Range:
Salary**: 70K ~95K **the salary may vary based on individual experience and expertise.
