MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE BEING A GROUP HOME MANAGER
SHIFT: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm
· Leading and participating in daily activities for the designated program regarding various services
· Develop and oversee the monthly calendar and staff rotation schedule in coordination with Group Home Director and Program Director
· Lead, train, and coach direct support professionals under the direction of the Group Home Director and program director
· Recommend, implement, and evaluate programs and goals to ensure quality standards of care, self-determination practices, and fiscal requirements are met
· Provide direct service as needed
· Monitor and ensure proper administration of medication along with proper documentation
· Assist in building a support network between the individual and the community
· Support and encourage individuals to increase their ability to be as independent as possible
· Follow all procedures and policies for paperwork and mandatory reporting
· Provide guidance and support to all staff members
· Provide for the safety, emotional and physical needs of all individuals
· Coordinate to make sure that all information is received, and supplies are available prior to receiving a new individual
· Maintain petty cash
· Maintain client funds
· Utilize means for furthering professional growth by attending mandatory staff meetings/trainings
· Ensure all documentation required for individuals care, including, but not limited to incident reports, daily assessments
· Communicate with families and Support Coordinators as needed
· Attend Annual ISP’s and (180-day meetings if needed)
· Make new client files, update information as needed (vitals, consents etc.)
· Oversee transportation for community clients and outings
· Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of AZDT vans
· Transport clients safely to and from various locations, depending on activity, ranging in time from approximately 30 minutes - 3 hours per day or as needed
· Monthly MPR’s (complete, print, and give to Director by the 7th of every month)
· Daily staff attendance calendar
· All Staff “Absence Request”
· Monitor staff overtime
· Complete IR’s, review, and e-mail to Director
· Drives vehicles following the driving policies and ensures van information is current
· Must attend all training sessions required by the company
· Maintain active certifications to all classes needed
· Keeping a positive attitude
· Creates new and innovative service models for people with disabilities based on individual choice
· Physically able to be on your feet for most of your shift

Pay: $18.00 per hour
