**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated In-Home Design Consultant/Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling all types of floors to our residential customers. While prior flooring experience is highly desired, we are willing to train the right individual who possesses a strong background in in-home sales.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct in-home sales presentations, approximately 2 hours each, to educate customers about the benefits of our products and close sales on the spot.
- Take accurate measurements and gain the trust of customers through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our product offerings to effectively address customer needs and concerns.
- Meet sales goals and key performance indicators outlined by the company.
- Assume leadership responsibilities including training, coaching, and developing the sales team.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in in-home sales, preferably in the residential sector.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new products and sales techniques.
- Ability to take accurate measurements and provide precise estimates.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
