Groundskeeper - Neighborhood Properties, Inc.

At Neighborhood Properties we want to make sure that our residents have the best possible rental experience! We are looking for a groundskeeper who is dependable and hard working for this entry-level position with our growing company. This position requires maintaining a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication to ensuring our properties remain exceptionally clean, neat, and attractive to our residents and neighbors.

The schedule initially for this position is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Remove litter and debris from the grounds.
• Assist with removing abandoned furniture, trash, etc. from vacated units.
• Keep walkways, breezeways, and dumpster areas clean and swept.
• Prune the bushes and trees, remove weeds, edge the walkways and give the grounds a manicured look. Mowing handled by subcontractor.
• Take on special landscaping or planting projects as deemed necessary by supervisor.
• Collaborate with the maintenance and management team to make sure the grounds and the building are always properly cared for.
• Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on the lawn care equipment and tools.
• Operate snow removal equipment during the winter to keep all of the walkways and building entrances cleared and safe.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Work long hours in outside environments
• Other relevant duties as requested by supervisor/s.

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED required
• Must be a reliable worker who is able to perform routine tasks without supervision
• Strong attention to detail required
• Clean driving record required - NO DUI/Reckless convictions within the past 5 years. (Insurance liability).
• Must be able to pass drug test and criminal background check.
