Greeter/ Children's Activity - Co-Worker

Greet and help customers find what they need. Super positive personality. Outgoing and very aware of the building. This position will also support monitoring kids when needed and cashiering. Experience in retail or childcare preferred. CPR and First Aid certification training provided. Requirements Physical Demands: Lifting and Carrying Occasionally (1-25lbs) HOURS – From 20-34 hours per week SHIFT – Seeking work schedule availability open on all days including Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday as a minimum requirement. The operations generally range between the window of 8am to 11pm, and the work schedules are published three weeks in advance. As a Children’s Activity Area Associate, you will: Contribute to creating a pleasant and safe environment for the children that visit our play facility. Register children, monitor and entertain children while in the playroom, and maintain a clean and hygienic environment. Participate in the planning and execution of children’s activities both in and outside of Småland. Build meaningful and empathetic relationships with children and their caretakers. Strictly adhere to all IKEA play facility and safety & security policy and procedures. Support in other areas of the customer experience function as needed, such as cashier and greeter role to provide additional coverage when needed.
