Building Maintenance Workers

STS Technical Services is hiring Building Maintenance Workers in Oscoda, Michigan.

Requirements:

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• High school graduate; State Certifications are helpful.
• Be able to read, write and understand spoken and written English.  Be able to write routine reports and correspondence.  Be able to give verbal and written direction to assigned staff.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stand; walk; talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls.  The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
• HVAC
• Carpentry
• Plumbing
• Electrical
• Automotive repair
• Heavy Equipment repair
• Building maintenance crew takes care of all grounds maintenance including but not limited to lawn care, painting, snow removal.
• This crew will also shuttle people and/or airplane parts to and from different airports.
• The candidate must have a valid driver’s license.

Job Duties:

• Perform maintenance and minor repair of company buildings and facilities.
• Perform electrical modification and repair of company buildings and facilities.
• Conduct routine inspections of company facilities and equipment to ensure serviceability.
• Follow and enforce safety rules and procedures.
• Operate equipment used in snow removal.
