QUALIFICATIONS
- An associate degree (AA) in early childhood education or child development
or the equivalent; or
• A valid Center-Based Preschool CDA credential; or
• An existing 120 Hour approval. - Background in child development
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be reliable and punctual with excellent work-related attendance record
- Such alternatives to the above qualification as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Establish and maintain a safe, orderly structured classroom
- Assume a leadership role in directive of the activities of the assistant and families
- Work collaboratively with building teams to assure student safety and optimize student learning.
- Communicate and collaborate with parents regarding student performance
- Such alternatives to the above responsibilities as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable.
