AT A GLANCE:
Broad River Retail is currently seeking a Graphic & Website Designer to join our Marketing team. This role will be responsible for creating well-designed, cohesive, dynamic graphics for all events and marketing collateral, in accordance with Broad River Retail and Ashley brand standards.
A DAY IN THE LIFE AS THIS MEMORY MAKER:
- Design visually appealing graphics for various digital and print materials, including but not limited to websites, social media graphics, marketing collateral, presentations, promotional and branded signage, advertisements, product sheets, billboards, corporate communications, event graphics, etc.; basic social media video editing is a plus.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications teams to understand project requirements and develop creative solutions that align with our brand and messaging.
- Design website layouts, user interfaces, and interactive elements to enhance the user experience and engagement.
- Develop and maintain website content, ensuring it’s up-to-date, visually appealing, and optimize for performance and search engines.
- Provide support to other team members as needed, including assisting with graphic design work and offering input on creative projects.
- Other needs as assigned.
WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENT:
- Ability to work independently, as well as, in a collaborative team environment within an office setting
- This role is a hybrid and does require 2-3 days onsite in our Corporate Office.
- Employees must arrange an appropriate workspace that ensures their productivity. Must be able to take participate in virtual meetings, on-camera, and calls with minimal distraction

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Associate degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or equivalent industry experience
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer/Website Designer with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, etc.)
- Proficiency in web development languages and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web publishing platforms such as WordPress.
- Basic social media video editing skills
- Experience with Microsoft 360 is preferred.
- Knowledge of project management and asset management platforms
