Graphic Designer

Job Summary: The Graphic Designer will support the daily operations and execution of creative tasks related to TwinSpires marketing campaigns. We are looking for someone that thrives in a fast paced, technology-focused environment. You will play a key role in supporting all visual elements of the TwinSpires brand.

Job Location: In Office (Louisville or Lexington, KY)

Essential Functions:

• Create graphics for app screens, social media, marketing and branding materials. Have an understanding of HTML5 animated banners.
• Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the brand function.
• Experience coordinating with vendors for print and product orders.
• Work on template based projects that follow the TwinSpires branding guidelines.
• Develop concepts and graphic elements to meet project objectives and prepare rendered layouts.
• Use an internal digital library to design projects with TwinSpires brand guidelines.
• Ensuring all art files are checked for accuracy and quality prior to release for review.
• Follow processes and procedures from concept to completion.
• Take initiative and ownership of projects to improve brand appeal.
• Reliable attendance and dependability in meeting commitments and deadlines are essential functions
• of this position.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Education and Experience:

• Art or Graphic Design degree preferred.
• Must have a natural eye for design and color and design imaginative content that effectively resonates with our target audience.
• Must have experience working with Adobe Creative Suite. Particularly Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
• Must have a strong portfolio showing advanced skills in vector art.
• Must have a flexible schedule to take on projects as needed.
• Some video editing experience is a plus.

Licenses/Certificates: Ability to be licensed as an Employee by various racing and gaming jurisdictions in which we operate, as required.
