SUMMARY:
A Graphic Designer will use a variety of creative tools to create attractive and informative pieces for print, digital and promotional purposes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Design advertisement pieces for products, events, outreaches, or special promotions.
2. Adapt previously designed pieces with updated information to create new promotions.
3. Create new branding for products and events.
4. Design packaging for various products (books, booklets, DVDs, and more).
5. Concept and design new retail products that promote the AiG message.
6. Design signage for events, retail, and other needs.
7. Maintain consistent branding and design presence across all promotional channels.
8. Market products and events with strong, personal calls to action.
9. Design layouts and create activities for our various curriculum products.
10. And all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
QualificationsREQUIREMENTS:
1. Advanced skills in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
2. Familiarity with workflow and collaboration solutions such as ClickUp, Microsoft Teams, Dropbox, and similar.
3. Advanced skills in layout, design, eye flow, information architecture, readability, typography, and color theory.
4. Strong understanding of principles of branding and its relationship to design and cohesive marketing.
5. Using customer-first marketing practices to create designs that help users and maximize engagement.
6. Promotes easy to read marketing verbiage with concise editing skills.
7. Finds creative ways to solve complex content needs with clean layout design
8. Good communication and interpersonal skills
9. Efficient - tackling problems in a timely manner
10. Independently resourceful - researching solutions with minimal supervision
11. Organized - able to keep track of multiple concurrent projects
12. Creative - thinking “outside the box” for optimal solutions to difficult problems

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent experience.
2. Recent two years of experience doing design professionally.
3. Strong portfolio demonstrating artistic creativity, concept innovation, technical knowledge, branding cohesiveness, and understanding of visual representation of content.
