DS Technologies Inc is looking for Graphic Designerrolefor one of our premier clients.Hybrid role.

The Graphic Designer will assist the development team by reviewing projects to determine the level of graphic involvement necessary. The Designer will communicate with the business unit/customer, project team, and other stakeholders as necessary related to requirements and proposed graphics solution for the project. The Designer is expected to understand the business goals and to use that knowledge to make recommendations for design improvements that will also improve the value to the end user.

Create and design various materials for digital and print

Select colors, fonts, images, and layouts

Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner with a quality product

Advise best practices and optimizations throughout design projects.

Collaborate with fellow designers to develop new approaches for creating more-expressive graphics for the company

Work with a wide range of media and graphic design software

Establish creative direction for the company within brand guidelines

Manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions

QA design for errors

Implement feedback and changes whenever possible

Create visualizations that convey accurate messaging for the project.

Conceptualize visuals based on requirements

Prepare rough drafts and present ideas

Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand

Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design

Test graphics across various media

Amend designs after feedback

Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Must be able to effectively and comfortably communicate with all types of individuals from the customer technical expert to the customer executive management

Strong analytical, design and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently/self-reliant and show initiative with minimum supervision

Ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply appropriately to business situations

Strong team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced team atmosphere

Ability to work under pressure; meet strict deadlines

Ability to listen effectively and seek clarification

Ability to build a rapport with clients

Proven graphic designing experience

A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics

Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)

A keen eye for aesthetics and details

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines

Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
