- Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and create visually stunning designs that align with Rhode Island FC's brand guidelines and overall marketing objectives.
- Develop a range of graphic assets, including but not limited to logos, signage, social media visuals, website elements, email templates, advertisements, promotional materials, sales and marketing presentations, and merchandise designs.
- Translate marketing strategies and concepts into visually appealing designs that effectively communicate key messages and evoke the team's brand essence.
- Ensure consistent and high-quality design output across various platforms, maintaining brand integrity and visual coherence.
- Stay updated with design trends, techniques, and industry best practices to continuously improve and innovate the team's visual identity. Identify fresh and emerging opportunities to promote Rhode Island FC.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, ticketing, social media, and merchandise, to ensure designs effectively support their initiatives and requirements.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize workload, and stay within budget in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Work with external vendors and printers to ensure print production and quality standards are met for various marketing materials.
- Maintain an organized archive of design assets, including source files, so they can be easily accessed and utilized by the marketing team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Graphic Designer in sports or entertainment.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills and versatility in creating visually impactful designs.
- Solid understanding of branding principles and the ability to apply them consistently across various mediums.
- Knowledge of current design trends, color theory, typography, and layout principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards in design work.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for soccer and a good understanding of sports culture and trends.
