As the Graphic Designer in our Global Events Team, you will be tasked with designing attractive exhibit graphics and other graphic elements for various Global Events. Some of your specific responsibilities will include creating booth graphics, backgrounds, exhibit renders, and other design concepts. You will work closely with the Global Events Team to ensure that all of your designs align with the event's goals and objectives.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with the Global Events Team to develop and execute design concepts for booth displays, experiential activations, and promotional materials at international toy fairs, trade shows, and other events.
- Work closely with Marketing, Product Development, and Sales teams to understand brand objectives and translate them into visually compelling designs that align with the company's brand identity.
- Apply branding and graphics effectively and prepare large-scale formatted files for production.
- Ensure that all deadlines are met and immediately red-flag any issues to leadership.
- Research and stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to bring innovative and fresh ideas to the team.
- Assist in the coordination of on-site installations, ensuring that the visual representation of the brand is consistent and impactful (as needed).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
Education/ Years of Experience
- Associate degree in design, exhibit design, industrial design, or other related field
- 1-5 years of experience in trade shows, exhibit design, or other related field
- 1-5 years of experience in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics (KSAO’s)
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
- Experience with Trade Shows or Format Graphic Production
- Able to work cross-functionally, collaboratively, and reciprocally with multiple departments
- Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude for problem-solving
- Must have the ability to work well in a fast-paced and changing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Google Drive and organization
- Experience in trade show and exhibit design
- Experience in the toy industry
- Multilingual a plus
