Graphic Designer

Reports to: Director of Marketing

Moore & Giles – a luxury leather company, based in Lynchburg, Virginia since 1933 – is seeking a Communications Coordinator. This full-time position is responsible to elevate visual storytelling across various digital and print platforms: Craft compelling visual communications that seamlessly align with project objectives, embrace diverse styling for different channels, resonate deeply with target audiences, and ensure a cohesive brand experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Design captivating marketing materials for both digital and print mediums, adhering to deadlines set by the Communications Manager.

- Execute on-brand design projects from conception to completion for digital platforms including web, email, and social media.

- Liaise with third-party suppliers to obtain accurate quotes and meticulously prepare design files for print production.

- Conceptualize thoughtful designs maintaining high standards, integrating feedback, and adeptly navigating design challenges.

- Effectively prioritize, manage, and execute multiple projects simultaneously to meet project goals and deadlines.

- Collaborate independently and cooperatively with the marketing team to ensure timely project delivery and efficient workload management.

- Curate and manage creative assets for the corporate marketing library, adhering to established file-naming conventions to facilitate seamless collaboration across teams and departments.

- Proficiently utilize and continually develop skills in various software tools including Adobe Creative Suite, Email Marketing Platforms (e.g., Listrak), and Photoshelter.

- Demonstrate a passion for leveraging qualitative analysis, iterative design processes, and effective design principles to engage target audiences.

- Exhibit original thinking, resourcefulness in overcoming challenges, and a propensity for generating innovative design solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
