We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer that can bring designs and stories to life through animation and video to join our creative team in Richmond, VA. As a Motion Graphics Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and animating engaging visual content for various projects, including but not limited to videos, presentations, advertisements, and social media campaigns.
Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and develop motion graphic designs and animations that effectively communicate the desired message and meet project objectives.
• Create storyboards, visual concepts, and design layouts based on project requirements and client briefs.
• Design and animate elements such as typography, logos, icons, and illustrations to enhance visual storytelling.
• Utilize industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Illustrator to create high-quality Motion Graphics and animations.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in motion design and animation to continuously improve skills and incorporate innovative ideas into projects.
• Work closely with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality motion graphic content that exceeds expectations.
• Maintain organization and file management of project assets to facilitate efficient workflow and collaboration within the team.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience in graphic design, animation, or a related field.
• Proficiency in motion graphic design and animation software, particularly Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous work in Motion Graphics, animation, and visual design.
• Excellent creativity and artistic skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Ability to effectively communicate ideas and collaborate with team members and clients.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of video editing techniques and principles.
• Experience with 3D animation software such as Cinema 4D or Maya is a bonus.
• Bonus consideration to live video shooting capabilities with knowledge of digital camera, lighting and audio.

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position
$52,500 - $87,500
