Director of Graphic Design & Art
MAJOR FUNCTION:
To oversee and maintain the production of the graphics, logos, and collateral content. Collaboration with other team members may include creating additional content inclusive of videos, publications, and church website and to ensure that the service messages, initiatives, ministries, and special projects are being communicated accurately reflect and represent Crossover.
MINISTRY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To support the vision of the church, the Pastors, and the leadership of the church.
§ Communicate the overall vision of the church, goals and strategy through graphics and media.
§ Attend & participate in employee staff meetings (weekly), ministry leader’s workshops and complete all membership classes.
To be accountable to the Leadership and discuss any problems, concerns, or suggestions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To collaborate to Maintain and update ministry website on a weekly basis.
Ø Make sure website is up to date.
2. To Finalize all content for weekend services
Ø Prepare Pre-service slides, Sermon notes, and monthly graphics for events and initiatives
3. To Design Graphics & Communication
Ø Create any new Flyers, Bulletins, collateral content, etc. for special events, projects, or activities.
Ø Work on current graphic and web projects.
Ø Work collaboratively with Director of Social Media to communicate a consistent message
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Effective communication skills and creativity are a must. Knowledge of church graphic design best practices and familiarity with developing engaging content for a multi-ethnic, multi-class, multi-generational audience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a must as are skills in the following: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Flash, Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Motion. Knowledge of standard social media graphic formats, layout, image sizes, and appeal. Added bonuses are knowledge, skills, and experience in HTML WebPages, Computer Installation & Troubleshooting, and/or Photography/Videography.

Location: Primarily In Person for Sunday’s, Annual Programs, Special Projects with the exception of some Virtual meetings or Conference Calls.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $1,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
