Summary/objective
The Graphic Designer is responsible for the design of print and digital assets and execution of content related to the communications plan as defined by the Marketing Communications Manager. As a marketing associate, you will need to take creative direction, manage projects, project timelines and assignments in a way that demonstrates an understanding of key consumer insights and an ability to activate them in relevant communications and innovation activities.

- Create internal and external marketing materials via design in Adobe Photoshop or InDesign for the company including print advertising, sales presentations, brochures, sales sheets, product packaging, trade show materials, digital advertising, product photography, videos, email campaigns and social media
- Collaborate with marketing team and internal stakeholders to create content for compelling brand awareness and lead generation campaigns
- Work with, and develop strong relationships with, outside vendors for production of marketing services including but not limited to product packaging and labeling, marketing collateral and stationary printing, and promotional merchandise
- Write, design, deliver and manage effective marketing campaigns through digital channels that will drive lead generation, including website, blogs, ads, video, social media, and email
- Shoot and edit in-house product or equipment photos/video for use in marketing materials
- Manage marketing material review process, obtaining approvals, modify content drafts based on feedback/edits, maintain final files, ensure latest versions are available on internal servers and online and management of eQMS database
- Maintain marketing material operations – print, organization of print collateral, inventory and coordination of all shipments
- Quarterly assessment of active content and lead in review and determination of relevance, status and update, as needed, i.e. obsolete
Competencies
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word)
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud programs (Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong experience in conceptualizing content for print and digital marketing: must know how to work in both media for integrated campaigns
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- High attention to detail with high level of accuracy
- Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment
- Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience in project management
- Strong experience in effective copywriting
Other duties
- Assist stakeholders with internal and external presentations
- Conduct brand/marketing strategy research
- Set up for internal and external company events
- Manage Avantik’s social media calendar
- Manage the preparation of Avantik educational workshops and industry trade shows
- Maintain proper inventory of marketing collateral and promotional products
Travel required
- Position requires approximately 10% annual travel.
