Custom linen manufacturer in the special events industry is seeking an entry-level candidate to work with our Lead Graphic Designer in our custom printing department.
A1 Tablecloth Co. serves the Special Events industry and continues to innovate with the growth of custom printing and exceptional customer service. We design and manufacture our own printed fabrics in-house through our custom printing department. We also offer creative services such as pattern creation and reproduction, branded goods, and color matching.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating and maintaining multiple large format printers.
- Collaborating with our Lead Graphic Designer on larger projects. Be able to handle smaller projects independently.
- Setting up art files for proofs and printing.
- Color matching between fabrics and Pantone color swatches.
- Project based photography, photo manipulation and color correction.
- Assisting in the development of new patterns and concepts for our inventory.
- Communicating with customers via phone and email.
Skills required:
- Degree in visual arts/graphic design, or equivalent education
- Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Entry level or greater proficiency in other Adobe programs are a plus.
- Basic proficiency with photography and camera equipment, lighting, and color correcting images.
- Excellent attention to detail and color.
- Strong time management, file management, and general organizational skills.
- Comfortable and capable of working in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround times.
- Have a strong enthusiasm for learning new skills and processes.
- Fluent in English. Novice or greater proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Training will be provided for our printing software and large format printers.
If selected for an in-person interview, you may be asked to demonstrate skills on site in Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop.
Must be able to commute to our facility in South Hackensack. This is not a remote position.
Must be available to work 8:30/9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Position can be hourly or salaried.
