Website Graphic Designer (Temporary Contract)

MyRegistry.com is seeking a TEMP Junior Digital Designer with an understanding and passion for designing stunning emails, presentations, and content for web and apps. The ideal candidate should have a passion for beautiful and engaging digital design, typography, compelling photos and contemporary layouts across all platforms and devices.

The candidate will work alongside and learn from our Creative Director, staff designers, developers and project managers in a fun, collaborative and fast-paced creative environment.

To qualify you must have a degree in graphic design or related field, a strong online portfolio, a great eye, and be a motivated team player.

We are looking for local candidates only as this role is ONSITE ONLY.

This is a maternity leave backfill for approximately 4-5 months, with potential to become a fulltime permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating aesthetically pleasing content and concepts for use in presentations, and advertising and marketing materials.
• Will create user interfaces, mockups, and prototypes for websites and apps
• Prepare production-ready files and assets occasionally.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience working as a Graphic Designer, Visual Designer, Multimedia Designer or similar
• Have a keen eye for design
• Up-to-date with the latest Design best-practices, techniques, and technologies
• Knowledgeable in digital and traditional media and the advantages and limitations each present.
• Proficiency in Adobe CC including Photoshop, Illustrator
• Proficiency in Figma
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Strong Attention to detail
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Design, IT, Computer Sciences, or related field

• Understanding of motion graphics and After Effects

This is an ONSITE Position ONLY

Monday-Friday 9am-6pm

This position is a temporary position, however with potential to become full time

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $26.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
