Summary

Responsible for work related to design, media and print. The Associate Graphic Designer will develop and deliver creative design solutions while adhering to brand guidelines and philosophies. Support design projects from conception to delivery. Use software and hand-rendering to design products that meet the needs of the sales organization. This role will partner directly with the Sr. Graphic Designer to develop designs to address business challenges and opportunities.

 

What You Will Do: 

  • Prints sales materials, including posters, menus, point-of-sale materials, and more to support all of the business’ needs.
  • Designs or modifies original pieces, including illustrations and infographics to address business challenges. Uses various software programs including, but not limited to Adobe Photoshop, to satisfy all appropriate Retail and On-Premise sales material needs.
  • Consults with Sr. Graphic Designer to understand business needs and issues as well as identify creative solutions to solve them.
  • Assists the Sr Graphic Designer with the look, layout and features of websites based on the needs of the business.
  • Assists with ongoing maintenance and replenishment of all print shop supplies.
  • Stays abreast of any industry-wide changes in design philosophy and any new tools and technologies being used for web design.
  • Scans images and prepares artwork for outside production.
  • Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.

What You Will Need: 

  • Bachelor's Degree of graphic design or similar experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years of graphic design experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated design experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite with a focus on InDesign, Photoshop, Flash and Illustrator.
  • Proficient in creating logos, web banners, and landing pages. Demonstrated creative thinking skills.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

  

What Will Set You Apart: 

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3 year of graphic design experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 7 years of graphic design experience.
  • Prior experience with Adobe Creative.
  • An impressive online portfolio full of digital/interactive work, video or flash design.

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $25.29-$38.00
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
