We are currently seeking an experienced Capture Manager (Space Segment) to identify and capture new business opportunities across the Department of Defense and implement an aggressive growth strategy. The position will support business development efforts in our El Segundo CA office
Successful candidates will have the ability to conceptualize a vision for winning, to develop a capture plan that implements the vision and translates into win themes, to adjust the vision as the procurement unfolds, and to focus and manage the capture activities and team (internal and external) to achieve the vision through final proposal submission and assist in preparing the execution team to perform quickly post award.

Management of the capture process and experience integrating capture information into formal and proprietary documents, including RFI's, Sources Sought, data calls, and final proposals

Responsibilities
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop capture strategy for high-value opportunities across and within multiple United States Air Force (USAF) and United States Space Force (USSF) organizations.
- Directly support capture planning and execution across all Axient business units.
- Support organic growth of existing contracts and task orders.
- Participate in the entire business development process from initial identification through proposal submission.
- Demonstrated experience identifying, qualifying, and winning USAF/USSF business.
- Identification of new opportunities that align with Axient's core capabilities and Strategic Plan.
- Development and maintenance of strategic interpersonal relationships with key government customers and attendance at industry days, symposia, and conferences.
- Extensive experience developing and maintaining relationships with small and large business industry partners and developing strong teaming strategies.
- Plan and participate in capture activities, to include opportunity gate reviews, black hat sessions, collaboration and workshop sessions, and proposal reviews.
- Lead competitive assessments, teaming, and price-to-win efforts.
- Experience writing technical, management, past performance, and other proposal related content.
- Strong mastery of strategic capture with the ability to develop strong technical and management responses.
- Ability to work across technical, business development, and support functions within a company to develop a winning proposal.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements and Desired Experience:
- Required - 10+ years of related business development and capture experience working with an array of USAF, USSF, and DoD customers.
- Required - versatility, leadership skills, and initiative to identify new business opportunities and move captures from initiation to proposal to transition.
- Required - Strong interpersonal skills - oral, written, and listening.
- Experience executing capture and winning task orders across multiple IDIQ's and single award contracts.
- Initiative, high energy, and passion for developing and capturing new business.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical and management capabilities and experience with customers.
- Must be able to achieve a DoD security clearance within 6 months of starting the position.
Highly desirable:
- Demonstrated success with business development on large IDIQ contract vehicles such as OASIS, GSA MAS, RS3, and others.
- Demonstrated success with business development through OTAs.
- Active and transferrable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the Top Secret level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 10 years of related experience
