The headquarters of the AXA Group (GIE AXA) brings together our corporate activities. It provides guidance and support to subsidiaries around the world, to ensure the coordination and monitoring of the Group's global strategy, the application of its standards, the consistency of commercial approaches and the sharing of best practices. Context

The Global HR Talent Partner role is a pivotal position in terms of talent management for AXA’s senior population.  It is an opportunity to work globally, across all of AXA, with diverse stakeholders, and a variety of talent topics which impact the way AXA attracts, identifies, develops, places, and retains key senior talent.  The role-holder will build experience of working on high impact, visible topics, building understanding of strategic priorities across the Group and supporting business achievement through talent initiatives.   

Working within the Group HR Talent & Learning team, the role-holder will focus on driving career development activities for the Top 2000 population and the Professional Families across the Group, and also supporting talent activities for the AXA Global Leadership Population (GLN – Top 250 AXA leaders).  There are also a number of short and longer-term projects and initiatives which focus on driving impact in talent, performance and career development for these global populations, including topics on capability, assessment, recruitment, and mobility.

Primary responsibilities

  • Leading career development activities for the Top 2000 population across AXA, collaborating across entities to support this key population towards the achievement of career steps at AXA, including future GLN positions.
  • Driving and supporting initiatives to build and optimize talent pipelining and capability for Professional Families.
  • Supporting succession planning, recruitment, and career management activities for the GLN population across AXA.
  • Leading and contributing to the skills and capability topic across AXA; designing and implementing an approach to identify and develop essential capabilities for now and into the future.
  • Leading and contributing towards the design and management of specific career management programs and initiatives such as Evolve, the Talent Exchange, the Talent Forum, the Heads of Talent community.
  • Supporting the Group Organisation & Talent Review process (OTR).
  • Working with other Group HR teams and communities to ensure a seamless and optimized approach to talent priorities across the Group, including I&D, and Learning.
  • Supporting the use of psychometrics in support of career and talent management activities, in particular Hogan.

Your Profile

Technical and professional skills

  • 8+ years’ in HR or equivalent experience, ideally with experience in talent management or business partnering positions or similar
  • Experience of recruitment, especially at a senior level, would be a plus but not essential
  • Capacity to partner effectively with varied and senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills; strong English and French writing and verbal skills
  • Excellent influencing skills and capacity to engage and challenge different audiences
  • Solid project management ability and capacity to manage multiple topics simultaneously
  • Experience in a multicultural, transversal, or corporate center environment
  • Skills in building effective and engaging proposals and papers
  • Solid skills in IT fundamentals; using PPT, social media etc.
  • Accreditation in Hogan or other psychometrics a plus but not necessary
