\"The Global Headof Real Estate Investor Relations is responsible for cultivating strong partnerships with existing institutional investors across Nuveen Real Estate's private equity and debt strategies globally, ensuring exceptional communication and service to its clients and driving investor satisfaction and retention. The role will proactively identify and address investor concerns, provide timely and accurate information, and ensure a high level of service and support throughout the client lifecycle.Essential to the role is the ability to convey deep Real Estate expertise and industry knowledge to enhance the Nuveen Real Estate brand across its client base globally. The position will report into the Global COO, with close connectivity to Nuveen's Global Client Group, and will build and maintain strong relationships with our institutional investors to better understand a client's investment objectives, preferences, and risk tolerance to effectively address their needs. The candidate must possess excellent relationship management skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively across business functions and management levels.\"
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Investor Relations strategy aligned with the firm's overall business objectives, including to define key investor engagement initiatives, communication channels, relationship-building activities, and act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
- Convey deep Real Estate and fund investment expertise, ensuring investors understand their investments, what's driving performance, how the fund portfolio is positioned, and how it fits in their overall portfolio.
- Act as internal subject matter expert for Nuveen Real Estate content related to its private equity and debt mandates, as well as its strategic partnerships (e.g., marketing collateral, RFP, investor reports, ongoing monitoring), collaborating with responsible functional groups to provide in-depth and accurate fund content.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our institutional investors to better understand their investment objectives, preferences, and risk tolerance to effectively address their needs, as well as provide Portfolio Management updates, decisions, and events to ensure proactive transparency to clients.
- Develop and deliver regular Nuveen Real Estate updates, providing in-depth insights into the investor's investment strategy and performance, and market trends.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with investors, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with the Nuveen Distribution Generalist and Specialist teams to identify cross-selling opportunities and help drive business development efforts.
- Represent the firm at investor events, roadshows, and conferences. Partner with Nuveen Events and Marketing for Annual Meeting coordination
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including senior management, Distribution Generalist and Specialist sales teams, client services, portfolio managers, legal and compliance teams, finance, risk, product, and marketing teams.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics, as well as conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and enhance our client value proposition.

Base Pay Range: $177,000/yr. - $247,000/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
