Beards & Broads Broadway is in need of a General Manager and we’re looking for a positive, enthusiastic, community minded, and customer focused leader to join our team. We have a fun, relaxed atmosphere with axe throwing, corn hole, darts, and live music. What we expect:
- Leadership: exude positive and charismatic leadership at all times, understanding that we don’t talk politics, religion, or prejudices EVER! Lead by example at all times! Follow and explain the rules and explain the “Why” to all employees! Hold employees and self accountable!
- Operations: Follows the operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling, safety and security, a clean and organized workspace, and the cleaning and maintaining of equipment.
- Attitude: Positive attitude at all times even during stressful times (low staffing, poor customer attitude, equipment broken or out of service)
- Revenue: Focus on driving increased revenue - solicit parties, catering sales, food & beer upsell, and axe throwing, and train staff to do the same! Focus on running the register correctly at all times and be aware of labor and COGS always!
- Social Engaging: Engage local businesses and the community promoting the restaurant, event space, catering, and mobile units. Be actively creating social media content with videos and photos.
- Event Management: Be able to sell and book event space and mobile units, and manage through to completion with appropriate staffing and planning.
- Customer Experience: Deliver unparalleled guest experience to all customers! Build meaningful connections with guests; discovers and responds to their needs with a customer-first attitude.
- Communication: Is able to communicate in both written and verbal formats, and is able to follow both oral and written instruction.
- Quality: Performs quality checks on all products, adhering to our book of recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Training: Assists with new team member training by following company training policy, positively reinforcing successful performance, and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.
- Health: Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products per ServSafe guidelines. If not ServSafe Certified, must agree to do so within first 6 months.

Pay
Compensation: Pay ranges $17.00-$20.00 per hour based on experience and/or performance with participation in tip share. There are opportunities for Quarterly Bonuses (based on Goals table) as well as incentives and the potential for commission for catering/event sales.
