Garage Support: Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
• Data entry of repair orders and parts into the Transman system and AS400
• Handle calls for customer breakdowns
• Assist with cash customers
• Communicate with Mechanics in garage
• Provide updates to customers on repair status when requested
• Work with relevant departments regarding equipment repair updates
• Answer calls and redirect to appropriate personnel
• Troubleshoot • Rotate Saturdays- not right away
Job Requirements
• Detail orientated
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Capable of working independently
• Ability to manage a busy phone system
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, Word, Excel & Outlook
• Excellent attendance
Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation The ideal candidate will need to be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision. The weekly schedule is Monday – Friday, 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
Pay starts at $16.00/hr.,
$16.50/hr. at six months as a company employee and
$17.00/hr. at one year as a company employee. Then yearly raises after that. This position also receives a 5% shift premium after becoming a company employee. they have good benefits and a career path for anyone interested in moving up with performance and learning and growing.
