The Public Health Portfolio of Leidos is seeking a Functional Analyst ito support the CDC OCIO Cloud Modernization program.
Role is full time telecommuting - MUST be located in the United States for the current 3 consecutive years.
Requires US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
This CDC OCIO Cloud Modernization program assists the CDC in migrating over 400 applications from on-premises to cloud solutions.
The Mid Functional Analyst will assist working with the client to understand the application’s functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
The Mid Functional Analyst is expected to develop functional expertise in various aspects of the delivery lifecycle including:
- Participating in requirements sessions, creating general designs, performing assembly testing, and supporting development efforts for multiple functional areas within the team
- Providing functional support to Developers, testers, and System Analysts
- Supporting the resolution of production issues and data cleanup efforts through functional analysis and testing
Requirements:
BS degree and 3+ years of prior relevant experience.
4 yrs of additional experience can be considered in lieu of degree
- Experience with software development and maintenance practices and methodologies (especially requirements, design, and testing phases)
- Knowledge of information systems and current computer technology.
- Working as a member of an Agile development team.
Preferred:
BS Degree required in Computer Science preferred
3+ years of experience working with the CDC
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence is required
- Experience with software development and maintenance practices and methodologies (especially requirements, design and testing phases) a plus
• Knowledge of information systems and current computer technology a plus.
• Familiarity with SQL, XML, and Oracle environment a plus.
• Familiarity with web and reporting technology also a plus.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
