We are currently seeking a Spiritual Care Counselor in the San Diego area who shares our passion for providing dignified, compassionate end-of-life care. This person will be covering primarily north inland, Fallbrook, Escondido, Poway, Rancho Bernardo, possible central near the office also.
Position Pay: $67,000 - $77,000 per year + mileage
Shift Schedule: M-F, Day Shift + rotating weekend on-call (only 2 weekend days per month)

The non-negotiables:
- Possess a master's degree in Divinity
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, reliable transportation, and willingness to drive to patient’s location
- Must clear a criminal background check, physical and drug screening
What you'll be doing:
- Available to patients and their families for regular and emergency visits
- Interprets patient and family needs, both spiritually and emotionally
- Uses his/herself in response to discover needs by developing a relationship which is supportive to the patient and their families
- In this position you will work closely with the interdisciplinary team and provide spiritual counseling and crisis intervention in order to adequately address the psychosocial needs of hospice patients and their families
