Spiritual Chaplain

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Chaplain to provide spiritual support and guidance to individuals in various settings. The Chaplain will offer counseling, lead religious services, and assist individuals in times of crisis. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of Christian counseling.

Must have Hospice MD experience

Responsibilities:
- Provide spiritual support and guidance to individuals in hospitals, hospices, correctional facilities, and other settings
- Conduct religious services and lead prayer sessions
- Offer counseling and emotional support to individuals facing difficult circumstances
- Perform crisis intervention and provide comfort during times of grief or loss
- Mentor individuals seeking spiritual growth and development
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other staff members to ensure holistic care for patients
- Write reports and maintain accurate records of interactions with individuals
- Educate individuals on religious practices, beliefs, and traditions

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Divinity, Theology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Ordination or certification as a Chaplain
- Experience in crisis management and intervention
- Strong knowledge of Christian counseling principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to provide leadership and guidance to individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Proficient in public speaking and conducting religious services
- Compassionate nature with the ability to empathize with others
- Conflict management skills to address sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy

Pay: $17.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
