Full-Time Bookkeepers Wanted

Are you a bookkeeper with exceptional skills that is tired of sitting in a cubicle, but likes working with others? Santoro CPA. is a growing CPA Firm based out of a professional and comfortable casual office. We have been adding multiple people to our team – could you be one of them? We need skilled, motivated, self-directed bookkeepers that knows how to get stuff done and is comfortable working with multiple clients. You will join an established and respected small firm with big skills. Work will be done in a comfortable private office in a collaborative environment. This position is full-time permanent. Pay will be based on experience.

Future team member should have the initiative to learn quickly and think on their feet. We want someone interested in growing into a larger role and be willing and able to take on additional tasks as needed.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Perform bookkeeping for multiple clients in various industries
2. Record Bank & Credit Card transactions into QuickBooks
3. Perform Monthly Reconciliations of Balance Sheet Accounts
4. Make journal entries
5. Monthly Financial Statements
6. Payroll Processing using ADP Platform
7. Prepare Monthly, Quarterly, Annual Sales & Use Tax Returns / 1099’s filings
8. Communicate and follow up with Clients
9. Various other related assignments

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
• Deadline oriented
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Able to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Team Player with strong work ethic
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office
• Accounting Degree and/or College Credits a PLUS!
• Previous experience required – specifically in bookkeeping and reconciliations, importing transactions, streamlining processes, troubleshooting and documenting client specific procedures
